SRX22045569: Pan paniscus raw sequence reads
1 OXFORD_NANOPORE (PromethION) run: 1.2M spots, 50.7G bases, 39.7Gb downloads

Design: The UHMW DNA was extracted from frozen cell pellets using the Circulomics Nanobind UHMW DNA Extraction Protocol and assessed for fragment size using a pulsed field gel. The fragments span from 50 Kb to 1000 Kb. Genomic DNA libraries were prepared using the "(ONT/CirculomicsLibraryProtocol)SQK-ULK001-ULK_9124_v110_revA_24Mar2021-promethion.pdf protocol from Oxford Nanopore. Each library was loaded onto a FLO-PRO002 flow cell and run for 72 hours with two subsequent loadings at 24-hour intervals. The libraries were sequenced on a PromethION (Oxford Nanopore) running MinKNOW software version 21.05.20. Basecalling and modified base detection (5mC) were performed using Guppy 6.3.8.

This data was generated to assemble the Pan paniscus cell line PR00251 (ToLID: mPanPan1). The genome was sequenced with multiple technologies. PR00251's parents (mother=mPanPan2, father=mPanPan3) were also sequenced with Illumina to utilize trio markers.
